Lexi is a student with a commitment to youth development at local and global levels, and a firm belief in a multidisciplinary future. TEDxKingsPark sparks her passion for collaboration and empowering young people. A state finalist in the 2019 Youth of the Year competition, she now studies a Bachelor of Philosophy in Health and Environmental Humanities at UWA.
At age 13, Lexi released her first community venture, an app providing mental wellbeing resources for young women. Lexi continues this work on the leadership team of Prevent Support Heal Youth, advocating for WA to adopt a more preventative mental health system. She has a keen focus on education, volunteering on the facilitating team for the National Youth Science Forum. Whilst in high school, she ran a global online tutoring program for disadvantaged students. She now works as a tutor with students from the Perth and Pilbara regions.
