William Crohan is a medical researcher who accidentally found himself on the world stage. Would his breakthrough surgical device still be taken seriously despite his youth and inexperience? William’s story tells us that who you are is more important than who you aren’t. William is a Surgical Registrar in Perth, Western Australia. He became interested in Ear, Nose and Throat medicine whilst practising medicine in remote indigenous communities in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. William has completed a Masters of Surgery at the University of Western Australia, and is about to commence his PhD.
