Haeden Miles

Youth Panel Chair, Marketing Officer, Youth Ambassador

Haeden is an advocate for young people and equality in WA. He studies at UWA as a second-year Political Science and International Relations major. Haeden is involved in the Arts Union of UWA, the peak representative body for Bachelor of Arts students. He has served as both First Year Representative and Externals Vice President to connect students to career pathways and enhance their campus experience. Campaigning for more diversity in politics is a core goal of Haeden’s, where he hopes to see our political systems, on all levels, better reflect the makeup of our communities. Further, in 2021 he served as Deputy Youth Premier in his 3rd year of the YMCA Youth Parliament, where he worked alongside his peers to draft and debate legislation that expressed the concerns of WA’s youth. Haeden sees young people not just as leaders of tomorrow but the true leaders of today.
