For Indigenous Australians our world is our archive

What has modern western culture often done with the objects it values most? It has put them in museums that can disconnect them from their context and the people who gave them meaning in the first place. As an art historian who is also an Indigenous Australian, Jessyca makes an impassioned case for us all to rethink how we relate to, and value, our cultural heritage, and how much we can learn from the world’s oldest, continuous cultures.

Presented at TEDxYouth@KingsPark 2022 on July 30th, 2022.
