Summer grew up in Saudi Arabia. During this time, she travelled with her family throughout Europe, America, and Southeast Asia, where she discovered diverse religions, cultures, and languages.
Summer is a passionate advocate for mental health, climate activism, creative expression, and visual arts. She hopes to study Innovation at Curtin University to develop the mindset and skills to solve industry and societal challenges.
Summer was selected as an artist in The Centenarian Project, a national portraiture exhibition which paired teenagers with people over the age of 100, where she acted as a spokesperson for the project on ABC radio with Andrea Gibbs. These experiences have led to her to volunteering with TEDxKings Park, so she can help create positive change and creative expression in communities. In her free time, Summer loves early morning surfs, trail running, yoga, painting and reading.
